Life in the hostfamily in Denver

I think the bset thing during this trip was living with the hostfamily. There are three family members in my hostfamily Juila is a kind pretty mother, Sera is a beautiful special sister, and Bera is a funny cute dog.

When I first saw them, I was really nervous. I was afraid that we could not get along well, but I was wrong. They tought me a lot ,from the knowledge og American culture to the daily trivialities, like how to buy things in America, how to post letters in the podt office, even how to walk the dog. We talked about everything we can talk . Thus I found my spoken English improved. I can still remember the day before went skiing, they tought me how to ski and helped me to prepare things that I needed, which made me feel really warm.

The snow was confotable in Denver. When I got up that day, Denver had a big change. Everything was white, and I took Bera to go outside. The snow was so soft that I imagined it a pure blanket. That was the first I had had fun with snow. I would never forget it .

The time when I had to leave Denver for Boston was so sentimental. I cried, So did Juila .

I am glad to have a Denver mother, I will be back to Denfer one day.

My Virgin Skiing Experience

This was my  first time to try this super interesting sport , skiing. I really enjoyed skiing a lot . I was so nervous that the skiing equipments were too heavy and tight for me and made me feel uncomfortable .

However, I was completely immersed in the fresh air, shining white snow against the pure blue sky. The chilling mountain wind of Denver made me energetic. The whole morning ,we practiced the basic skill of skiing with the help of an American coach who was a very a person with passionate . After lunch, my friends and I began the so called “real ski” that we desired for a long time. Wow, it was so thrilling to ski downhill ! But I have to say that it’s really difficult to balance your body and stop when you are skiing at the first time.
